Equal Voice is seeking an experienced professional to grow Equal Voice and help us fund our work of electing more women and gender diverse people to all levels of political office in Canada. With experience in corporate fundraising, business development, government relations and relationship building, the Corporate Sponsorship and Stewardship Lead is a key position on the Equal Voice team. We are looking for someone to step in to continue to maintain and grow our capacity.
On May 6, 2026, Senator Donna Dasko, one of Equal Voice's founding members, rose in the Senate of Canada to mark a milestone 25 years in the making.
Equal Voice was founded in 2001 by approximately 50 trailblazing women from across the political spectrum who agreed on one clear and urgent purpose: elect more women to all levels of political office in Canada. A quarter century later, we are celebrating what that conviction built, and recommitting to the work still ahead.
On April 23, 2026, Equal Voice Interim Executive Director, Lindsay Brumwell, appeared before the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs (PROC), a permanent House of Commons committee currently studying the state of civic resilience in Canada.
