Saskatchewan Trailblazers Reception 2026

Celebrating Saskatchewan Women Trailblazers in Politics

 April 12, 2026

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM CT

Join Equal Voice on Sunday, April 12 at Local Market in Regina for an evening of networking and celebrating homegrown leadership. Taking place alongside the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) Convention, the evening will feature a short cross-partisan panel discussion on the realities of running for office and governing, followed by a networking reception.

Saskatchewan has a strong tradition of women contributing to public life, from the fight for women’s right to vote to the many women who have served and led in their communities, on council, and in the Legislature.

We are pleased to share that Her Honour the Honourable Bernadette McIntyre, S.O.M. will provide opening remarks and join us for a portion of the evening with her husband, His Honour Rich McIntyre.

Other special guests include:

  • Alana Ross, Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Responsible for the Status of Women Minister Responsible for Tourism Saskatchewan Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority
  • Vicki Mowat, Deputy Leader, Official Opposition, Saskatchewan NDP
  • Jamie Martens, Provincial Secretary, MLA for Martensville–Blairmore and former Deputy Mayor of Martensville
  • Her Worship Myra Malboeuf, Mayor of Ile a la Crosse, Executive Director of the Ile a la Crosse Friendship Centre, National Rep of the AFCS Board of Directors
  • Sandra Masters, Deputy Chief of Staff - Communications, Executive Council and Office of the Premier, Government of Saskatchewan, and the First woman Mayor of a major Saskatchewan city

This is your opportunity to recognize that legacy and inspire the next generation of women in politics across the province.
