This program is designed to equip women and gender-diverse individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to run for political office in Canada – This includes municipal, provincial/territorial, and federal elections. Equal Voice is a multi-partisan organization, and this program will provide the opportunity to hear from elected officials and experts from all political parties.

Explore your "why", understand where you fit on the political spectrum and learn about the things you need to do before you announce your run. We will also talk about the nomination process and how one logistically gets their name on a ballot.

- Each session is interactive and includes a mixture of group exercises, guest speakers, and networking opportunities with others from across Canada.
- 6 sessions total. Each session is ~2 hours, for a total of 12 hours of learning over 6 weeks.
- There are 12 speakers throughout the course of the program.
- Participants will also receive a comprehensive workbook to guide them through the courses.
- Cost of the program is $75 and bursaries/childcare subsidies are available via application.
- Sessions take place online using Zoom, in English only.
- To participate, you will require access to the internet, Zoom, a microphone, and a web camera.
- Live Closed Captioning and Live Auto-Translation Caption Services are available.
- Sessions are not recorded but notes are taken.
