WHAT IS CAMPAIGN SCHOOL?
This program consists of 4 online sessions including a mix of group exercises, guest speakers, and networking opportunities with other leaders from across Canada.
Each session is approximately 2 hours for a total of 8 hours of learning over 2 weeks. Participants will receive a comprehensive workbook to guide them through the sessions.
This 4-session program costs $150 and bursaries are available.

Program Overview
Session 1: Why Canada Needs You
Tuesday April 14, 06-08pm ET
Discover your 'why,' identify where you stand on the political spectrum, and learn the essential steps to take before announcing your run. We'll also explore your skills and what you can expect from a career in politics.
Session 2: Canada’s Municipal and Local Political Systems
Thursday April 16, 06-08pm ET
Learn how municipal and provincial politics work, and get practical guidance on organizing election day and coordinating volunteers.
Session 3: Media & Mass Communications Confidence
Tuesday April 21, 06-08pm ET
Define your personal brand, expand your reach to larger audiences, and build confidence in public speaking and media interviews.
Thursday April 23, 06-08pm ET
Explore strategies to build your network and effectively canvass for votes. Learn how to develop your communication plan and prepare to deliver a compelling elevator pitch at the doorstep.
PLUS — hear directly from politicians, political staffers, and campaign managers from every level of government and political stripe. They’ll share their journeys into politics, wildest campaign-trail stories, what they wish they’d known before they started, their biggest wins, toughest challenges, and all the messy, hilarious, inspiring moments in between.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Scholarships are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, with limited spaces available. To apply, select “Attendee – Scholarship” when registering and complete the required questions by April 3, 2026.

She is known for her sharp strategic thinking, ability to build trust quickly, and for helping women step into power—having trained dozens of candidates through her work with Equal Voice, Business & Professional Women, and her own firm’s public affairs training.
Samantha’s approach blends real-world political experience with a passion for capacity building, ensuring that changemakers not only win—but lead with confidence once they do.
