We’re excited to offer a pop-up Campaign School in Regina on Saturday March 23.

  • Interested in learning how to run an election campaign?
  • Already elected and looking to re-invigorate your campaign strategy?
  • Interested in making a mark on someone else’s campaign?
  • Want to make sure your campaign volunteers are equipped with knowledge?
  • Just beginning to dip your toe into the political world and looking to expand your circle?

This program is designed to equip women and gender diverse individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to run for political office in Canada.

 

 

  • Beyond Parliament Panel - Speak with a School Board Trustee Tracey McMurchy, an Indigenous/Union Leader and Regina Councillor Shanon Zachidniak about how to run and make an impact in their respective roles.

  • Mobilizing Your Campaign Team

  • Canvassing for Votes

  • Defining Your Persona + Media & Communications Best Practices - Joined by a multi-award winning Indigenous journalist Ntawnis Piapot

  • Fundraising & Budgeting

 
More Information:

  • The program fee is $25, to go towards covering some of the food cost.

  • Travel and childcare subsidies are available upon request.

  • Light snacks and lunch will be available.
  • It is encouraged to bring your laptop/tablet to the session.

  • Sessions are interactive. Nothing will be recorded. We strive to create a safe and brave space for all.
