This Program is designed to equip Indigenous women, Two Spirit and gender diverse individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to run for political office in Canada – This includes municipal, provincial, federal and Indigenous leadership elections. Equal Voice is a multi-partisan organization and this program will provide the opportunity to hear from elected officials and experts from all political parties.
Facilitated by Francyne Joe and Courtney Clarke, this program consists of 8 online sessions including a mix of group exercises, guest speakers, and networking opportunities with other Indigenous leaders from across Canada.
Each session is approximately 2 hours for a total of 16 hours of learning over 4 weeks. Participants will receive a comprehensive workbook to guide them through the sessions.
This 8-session program costs $50 and bursaries are available.

An open conversation about systemic and overt barriers, ways to cope, and why we must continue to persist.
