Yaelle Gang

Candidate - Director (Ontario)

I am currently the chair of the Toronto Chapter of Equal Voice. In this role, I’ve led many successful projects including election readiness events, a speed networking event, a women in politics book club, a leadership summit for Daughters of the Vote delegates and more. I am passionate about the work Equal Voice does to get more women elected to government and about the multi-partisan nature of the organization. By sitting on the Equal Voice Board of Directors, I want to contribute to the strategic development of the organization and ensure it continues to be a place where people from all sides of the political spectrum can work together toward a common goal.

In my day job, I am the editor of an investment publication for Canadian pension plans. Prior to this, I was a financial communications manager at a provincial agency and I have a wealth of experience from my time on Parliament Hill, where I was a policy advisor to the federal minister of state (finance) and worked on two federal budgets. I also served as the legislative assistant to a member of parliament on the finance committee.
