Tessa Ritter - Director (Saskatchewan)

Tessa Ritter is the Chief of Staff to the Minister responsible for Advanced Education, Status of Women, and Innovation in Saskatchewan. Tessa has served in various public relations roles in Saskatchewan and internationally over the past decade including; corporate communications at Farm Credit Canada, a government and stakeholder relations consultant at Hill + Knowlton Strategies, and a policy and communications aide in Saskatchewan’s executive government.

Tessa holds a degree in International Studies from the University of Regina, and has worked in Amman, Jordan for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, as well as at Vietnam National University in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Through her work, she has seen how important it is to have women at leadership tables, and especially those who are not solely focused on the areas where women are often seen as victims but instead focused on areas of opportunity. She believes it’s critical to have more women as leaders in Canadian politics.
