Equal Voice Youth Chair Election and Voting Process **VOTING PERIOD EXTENDED UNTIL 12PM EST FRIDAY, MARCH 7, 2014**

Equal Voice would like to announce the start of the official campaign period for the election of the National Youth Chair. We are pleased to welcome an impressive field of candidates from across the country. To view biographies of all candidates, scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the names of candidates.  

 

VOTING PROCESS

 

As in previous years, the election will be conducted online using Simply Voting, a highly secure computer based voting system.  Each youth member in good standing will receive an email in advance of the vote directing them to cast their ballot confidentially online.

 

Who is Eligible to Vote?

 

·       The voter must be an Equal Voice Youth member in good standing by 12:00 p.m. EST Tuesday March 4 th, 2014. Membership fees are $10.00/year for youth, students or low income (self-declared). To join or renew your Equal Voice membership click here;  and,

·       Voting is only open to Equal Voice members who are 25 years or younger at the time of voting.

 

ELECTRONIC VOTING

As noted above, Equal Voice invites all of its youth members in good standing to cast their vote via a secure and confidential online ballot. The voting will commence
at 5:00 p.m. EST Tuesday March 4th, 2014.  Youth Members will have the opportunity to cast their ballots until 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday March 6th, 2014.


Electronic voting will take place via Simply Voting. Simply Voting is a highly secure computer based voting system that enables individual members to go to a specific web page where they can cast their votes confidentially on Equal Voice Youth Chair Candidates.

Information on how to vote will be sent to all youth members in good standing who have renewed/joined no later than 
12:00 p.m. EST Tuesday March 4 th, 2014.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Membership fees are  $10.00/year for youth, students or low income (self-declared). We strongly encourage you to join or renew on line by clicking here. When processed online with payment, your membership is effective immediately.
