“Elizabeth May is a trailblazer for women in Canadian politics,” says Raylene Lang-Dion, EVNCR Co-Chair and former Equal Voice National Chair. “Not only does she have an impressive record of leadership she is also an environmentalist, lawyer, writer, and activist.”

“As the only female party leader on the federal scene during most of her political career, Elizabeth May is an important role model, especially for young women.” says Etana Cain, EVNCR Co-Chair. “I look forward to this event to honour Ms. May’s accomplishments.”
