PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(le français suit l’anglais)

Equal Voice National Capital Region (EVNCR) is pleased to announce that Raylene Lang-Dion has been elected interim Chapter Chair effective immediately.

Raylene brings a wealth of history with Equal Voice from her former volunteer positions as National Chair (2006-2008) and EVNCR Chair (2004-2006).

“Operating in our nation’s capital, EVNCR has the advantage of working with high-level decision makers who are key players with respect to the recruitment, nomination, and ultimately to the election of more women to political office in Canada.

I look forward to leading the team and ensuring we meet our goal to provide an equal voice to women at the political decision-making table.”

In the next few weeks, the EVNCR website at www.equalvoice.ca will be updated with future events and opportunities to add your voice to the Steering Committee.

2011 is Equal Voice’s 10th Year Anniversary - stay tuned for details!
