I am currently the Vice-Chair of the National Board of Directors for Equal Voice.
I am running for a second term because the 2019-2021 Board will be responsible for developing a new strategic plan and set of organizational values. This work is critical and I want to be part of shaping the future direction of EV.
This work will require strong governance experience and commitment to women’s leadership in politics, and I have both. I have extensive governance and leadership experience drawing on international leadership roles, and tenure as President of the Board of Amnesty International Canada E (2013-2016). I have been a candidate for city council and worked on campaigns. In the day, I am a human resources professional in the water and wastewater industry.
