Paige Kezima spent her childhood on a farm on Treaty 4 territory in rural Saskatchewan. She moved to Regina in 2008 to pursue post-secondary education. While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a certificate in Public Relations, Paige was elected as the Vice-President of External Affairs for the University of Regina Students’ Union. She moved to Ottawa in 2017.
Professionally, Paige has worked as a community organizer in the labour movement for the past number of years, helping create and implement campaigns for both federal and provincial elections and develop relationships with members and other stakeholders.
Paige is also passionate about mental health advocacy and has had personal pieces published in The Mighty and Sick Not Weak. She volunteered for the Schizophrenia Society of Saskatchewan’s Partnership Program where she shared her experience living with a mental illness.
