Nasha Brownridge - Director of Communications

Pronouns: she/her

Nasha moved to Ottawa from Milton, Ontario in 2009 to pursue a career in politics, and has since worked for multiple government departments, NGOs, and most recently spent five years working on Parliament Hill. Having worked for MPs in Quebec and Alberta, Nasha decided to give communications a try and found her passion working with traditional and social media as a National Caucus Press Secretary. During her time on the Hill, Nasha was named three times in the Hill Times 25 Terrific Staffers list (2016-2018). She has also been elected and served as President of her local union. Nasha is passionate about seeing more women elected at all levels of government, as well as combating sexual harassment in political structures.

Nasha holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Science (Political Science and Public Administration) from the University of Ottawa, is fluently bilingual (English/French), and on the rare occasion she’s not working enjoys travelling the world!
