About Equal Voice
Equal Voice is a national, registered charity dedicated to achieving gender parity in Canadian politics through research, education, and leadership development. Since 2001, Equal Voice has been at the forefront of advocating for the equal representation of women and gender-diverse individuals in Parliament, provincial and territorial legislatures, municipal councils, and Indigenous governance. Our programs provide the training, resources, and networks needed to help women and gender-diverse individuals successfully run for office and lead in political life.
With a small but dynamic team and a nationwide network of volunteers, Equal Voice operates as an innovative, nimble, and solution-focused organization. As a cross-partisan organization, we champion democracy, civic participation, and political diversity by fostering collaboration across all political perspectives to advance gender equity in public office.
