Heather Watson has a history of working to advance women in politics, business and tech.

Political Accomplishments: Recently elected as a Councillor in the rural municipality of Douro Dummer, Ontario Heather has worked and supported municipal, provincial and federal campaigns. She has co-produced and delivered numerous Women in Politics/Campaign Schools and has coached many candidates.
Business Accomplishments: Heather’s career has been in marketing and communications, in non-profit, private and public sectors. Professionally, Heather is educated in Marketing, Human Resources and Non-Profit Leadership. Equipped with the necessary tools and experience to serve on multiple non-profit boards, in 2015 the Chamber of Commerce recognized Heather as a “Top 4 Under 40” for her leadership.
Community Accomplishments: An active volunteer, Heather has served on the United Way Cabinet, Southern Ontario Library Service Board and as Toastmasters Area Director. She co-founded a Chapter of HackerNest to unite and highlight the work of women in tech and received a volunteer service award from the Province for her community work.
