Cherie Wong

Cherie is a Hong Konger-Canadian, born in Toronto. When she was two, her family moved back to Hong Kong. Cherie moved back to Kitchener 2010, where she completed her high school degree. Cherie moved to Ottawa, Cherie has attended and graduated from the University of Ottawa, with Honour Bachelor in criminology and psychology.

Cherie is very active in her community and Canadian politics. During her studies at uOttawa, Cherie was elected to Residence Association twice. She also volunteered with a variety of student services and clubs during her academic years. She began her political involvement in 2014, volunteering for a Member of Parliament. She has gained extensive policy and federal political experiences. Along with other youth, Cherie led the team to organize 2017 People’s Climate March in Ottawa.
