Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
YC Tracey-Lee Eddy visited Saskatoon in November to do two workshops at the 2009 Sustainability Conference. This annual Conference brings together over 300 High School students from across Saskatoon every year to discuss ways to make a difference in their future. The Conference was held at the Teachers College at the University of Saskatchewan. Tracey also visited a first year University Politics class while she was there and spread the word about Experiences. The University of Saskatchewan is beautiful! Check out the pictures!
Our Nation's Capital!
It was so great to visit Ottawa U - the birthplace of the Experiences Program!! Local YC, Tracey-Lee, teamed up with an Equal Voice Youth Chapter and had a great Recruitment session with students there. She also returned to Glashan Public school which is where we did our teaching module media launch last year! It was great to see everyone again. At another visit to Ottawa U, Tracey-Lee's daughter Olivia helps Ambassador Lynne Lessard woman an Experiences Information booth!
Halifax Legislature Launch!
Sudbury Ontario
YC Tracey-Lee Eddy visited Sudbury Ontario to spread the word about Experiences. At Marymount academy 200 girls actively participated in a lively session followed by a successful return to Laurentian University and reunion with two of our wonderful Ambassadors!
Montreal and Hudson Quebec
It was great to team up with Apathy is Boring's Call to Action at Concordia University in September. Then in October, I, Tracey-Lee, returned to the town I grew up in, just outside Montreal, to speak to students at the High School I would have gone to had I not moved to Vancouver! They were such a fun group.
Edmonton and Grande Prairie
