The event will take place on Sunday, September 12, 8pm at the National Arts Centre’s Fourth Stage. What’s more, the debate will be televised on RogersTV (Channel 22) and livestreamed.
The debate will feature current mayor Larry O’Brien and candidates Alex Cullen, Jim Watson and Clive Doucet. The format of our debate - a televised, 90 minute event with multiple platforms for questions.
If you or your members cannot be physically present, we hope that you will still be able to engage. From now until September 12, we will be soliciting questions from Ottawans via multiple web 2.0 platforms:
1. Twitter (http://www.twitter.com) - At any time, Tweet your question using the hashtag #ott2010. We’ll be pulling questions directly from Twitter during the debate.
2. YouTube (http://www.youtube.com) - Record yourself and upload your questions on our YouTube group (http://www.youtube.com/group/ottawaelections2010)
