| NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION CHAPTER
The National Capital Region of Equal Voice started
up in September 2004. The two overarching purposes of this chapter
are - to host and organise events to increase public awareness about
the significant under-representation of women in the political sphere;
and to encourage political parties and grassroots organisations
to nominate and elect more women for all levels of political office.
