Beki Scott

Rebecca (Beki) Scott is the National Youth Chair of Equal Voice.

Beki became involved in Equal Voice in 2004 when she was an Ontario Legislative Intern at Queen's Park. She became an active member of the Toronto Youth Chapter, chairing it from September 2006 until August 2007 when she became National Youth Chair of Equal Voice.

After the Internship at Queen's Park, Beki worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and then moved to the private sector as a Policy and Communications Consultant at Extendicare (Canada) Inc. Beki has been volunteering and working with seniors since she was a child.

She has shown her support for women in politics by volunteering for female candidates from different parties at all levels of government. She is also an active volunteer with the United Way.

Beki was born and raised in London, Ontario. She holds a B.A. (Honours) from Carleton University in Political Science and Business and an M.A. in Public Policy and Public Administration from Ryerson University.
